If you or someone you know would be a hit for our international delegates then send the information along or a submission that our committee can review. Presentations should be approximately 50 minutes long, highly interactive and fit the theme of the conference. We are seeking submissions that range from academic to front line.

Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) is defined as a multi-disciplinary approach to deterring criminal behavior through environmental design. CPTED strategies rely upon the ability to influence offender decisions that precede criminal acts by affecting the built, social and administrative environment. It is pronounced sep-ted and is known by various labels or names around the world such as Designing Out Crime and other acronyms.
The organizing committee of the ICA 2012 Conference is accepting presentations for the upcoming conference. Sessions should be approx 50 minutes in length and fit within the theme of the conference - "Creating Safe Communities - More Than Design". A brief synopsis of your presentation and a short bio of the speaker is all that is required for initial review.
Speakers receive up to 3 nights accomodation at the venue hotel and your registration will be waived for the conference and all related activities. Further information will be made available to selected speakers.
Registration information will be forthcoming but book your dates now as the 2010 conference was a huge success and we expect this conference to grow.
A number of the presentations from the Comparative CPTED Conference held at Sydney University in February are now available at the University of Sydney's webste.
